In spite of having a birth defect involving her back legs, Willow is an active 2 year old Australian Shepherd. She loves to run (which is easier for her than walking) and is a great snuggler.

Willow has not been around young children, but loves the 15 year old daughter in her foster family. She gets along great with her foster family’s dog and cats. She will need a home with carpeting because wood or smooth surface floors are very difficult for her to maneuver since she cannot bend her back legs. That, however, does not stop her, and she can jump to get on the foster family’s couch. Stairs are another story. She can only manage about 2 of them, so a home with few or no stairs would be best for Willow.

She will make a great addition to a family that is understanding of her disability. Please consider Willow! She wants and deserves a forever family to love and be loved by!

Willow’s adoption fee is $250, and adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad City Area.
