Much awesomeness in one doge (that’s “dog” in dogspeak!) Wow! It’s me, Kelpie mutt! Hi, my name is Kaito (pronounced Kite-o). I am an Australian Kelpie, Shiba Inu mix from the Lone Star State of Texas! I think I’m about 5 years old, but I don’t really know because I can’t count without any fingers or thumbs! I am very happy to meet you and all your human friends, but I am sometimes scared of other dogs. Some of them are so much bigger than me! I know some basic human words, so I can do things like sit, lay down, and shake. I also know my name, and I live for tummy rubs and playing fetch with my toys and balls. So let’s go running, throw a toy around for me, and then give me all of the belly rubs! I am also such a diva, and I hate being in a crate. I will sing you the song of my people if you crate me. It sounds like Barbara Streisand, although my foster family doesn’t think so. Honestly, I won’t hurt anything if you just let me be out and about in the house. I am totally housetrained as any gentleman would be and I don’t chew up things that are not mine (I don’t even chew up my toys!).
I’ve been told that I’m the coolest thing since the Arctic, whatever that means, so get in touch with the cool people at K9 Kindness Rescue. Can I be your doge?”
