Cocoa is a 10+ year old Chihuahua mix looking for her furever home with her brother Chico. These two were surrendered after their owner unfortunately passed.
Cocoa did have some pretty rough teeth when she came in but she’s had a dental and is doing much better now! While she is healthy overall, the previous owner’s daughter did notice a few seizures at their home. We have witnessed one when she first moved into her home and haven’t seen any further. They are most likely triggered by stress and one should be expected when she moves to a new home. She does not require medication for them at this time.
While Cocoa isn’t overly attached to Chico, he is very bonded to her and we will NOT separate them. Cocoa does good about going potty outside but will use a puppy pad as well.
We would love to find an adult only home with no other dogs for these two live out the rest of their lives in!
Chico and Cocoa’s adoption fee together is $150, and adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad City Area.
