Meet Nikki, 16 months old and 47 pounds of pure love! She has a VERY sweet disposition and may be the easiest going pup there is. She goes with the flow and doesn’t try to rock the boat… although she does get car sick. Be prepared to share the bed with her, she is a cuddle bug through and through. She doesn’t care if she’s the big spoon or the little spoon when cuddling… she just wants to be a spoon!
She loves to play with other dogs and doesn’t mind cats one bit. She is living with three cats right now and even when they are mean to her (hissing and hitting her) she just takes it in stride and seems confused as to why they don’t want to play with her. She even loves to lick her guinea pig brother (through the cage of course).
She is not quite completely housebroken but is doing very well learning the ropes. She now knows what “potty” means and is very pleased with herself when she is able to do so outside. She does very well on a leash with just a little pulling. Nikki loves to take walks and go to the park. She is not dog, squirrel, or cat reactive. If she is barked at, she ignores it and goes about her business. She loves spending time in her backyard.
Nikki loves to play but still doesn’t quite know how to play with toys yet. Throw the ball and she will chase it.. then look at it in wonderment. She loves treats too! She loves to “hide” her toys in her kennel/crate, which she doesn’t mind being in. Someone is usually home with her but we have put her in the crate when we have left to run errands and she does just fine in it. Nikki loves to chase and bite the vacuum so she “hangs out” in there while I vacuum and is calm as can be.
Any Pitbull loving family will be lucky to get this sweet girl!
Nikki will come spayed, UTD on shots and preventative, and micro chipped.
Nikki ‘s adoption fee is $250, and adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad City Area.
