A letter from Murphy, our recent rescue

Woof… “Dear Foster Family”…woof

Woof… I had an excellent ride home with my new mom and dad, Chris and Melissa…woof. Woof….My mom rode in the back seat with me all the way home, and let me lie on her lap and sleep…woof. Woof…When I got to my new City, we stopped at my Grandma’s house…woof. Woof…She was surprised and very excited to meet me, I did what most dogs do and ate the rest of the cat food, but she didn’t care…woof. Woof…I got to meet my uncle and his girlfriend and they were both excited to meet me…woof. Woof…I even got to meet my new cousin, his name is Bud, he is a BIG yellow lab, did a little sniffing and rough housing, I’m sure we’ll end up being great friends.
Woof…After we left grandma’s house we stopped by Grandpa’s house…woof. Woof…he didn’t even see me walk in, because I can be sneaky, it took him a few minutes then he welcomed me with the biggest HUG and KISS. Grandpa was very excited to meet me, and glad I am now in the family…woof. Woof…I felt like I got to meet so many people my first night, but it was time to head to MY new home…woof.
Woof…When we got to my new home, I decided to take a tour of the place…woof. Woof…it’s a nice cozy home, and I have already claimed my chair to look out the big front window…woof. Woof…I slept all night long snuggling next to Mom and Dad and woke up with a big yawn and stretch…woof. Woof…The next morning, while Mom went to have coffee with Grandpa, I did some Dad and me bonding…woof. Woof…we watched a movie and went for a walk to the Vets Memorial Stadium up the street, and Dad told me that they have “Bark in the Park” there so sometime this summer I will get to go to a baseball game…woof. Woof…My neighborhood is full of dogs, some are small and some are BIG…woof. Woof…I did meet this boxer named, “E,” I think I have a new girl friend…woof.
Woof…Later that afternoon my Aunt and Uncle stopped by with my cousin, her name is Ella and she’s 4. She gave me some big hugs and kisses and she really liked my big floppy ears, which I will admit, are my best feature…woof. Woof…Later that night I had supper while Dad grilled Mom and him some food…woof. Woof…After dinner we went back to Grandma’s house to meet Dad’s friend and his dog, Lennon, he was a fun and very active dog…woof. Woof…When we got back home, Mom, Dad and I snuggled up on the couch to watch their favorite TV show, and soon to be my favorite show, Friends…woof. Woof…I had another successful night sleep and boy I’ll tell you, this family sure does love me, I can’t go anywhere in the house without being stopped to get a bunch of hugs, kisses and “I Love You’s” but I don’t mind, I really enjoy all of the attention they give me and I love my new family so much…woof. Woof…
Woof…On Sunday, Mom and Dad ran a few errands, so I tested out the new kennel, I didn’t like it at first but they left me with my favorite pillow so then I didn’t mind so much…woof. Woof…Mom and Dad seem pretty impressed that I haven’t made a single mess in the house the whole time I’ve been here, they keep telling me what a good boy I am…woof. Woof…This has been a great couple of weeks, with my new forever home, and I wanted to thank my foster family for helping me find people that love me so much…woof. Woof…I also want to thank K9 Kindness for finding me the foster home, which lead me to my forever home…woof. Woof…I have a feeling, from what my Mom and Dad say, I will be very loved by so many people, and will get to go on a lot of adventures, such as…baseball game, swimming at the pool, family reunions, and good old walks around the block…woof. Woof…I am very excited to start my new life here, and glad to be a part of the Stumpff family…woof. Woof…I keep hearing my parents tell each other how happy they are to have me and I know they really appreciate everything you did for me…woof.

Woof…Thanks again for fostering me and helping me find a new loving family…
Woof…I will never forget you guys, and hope you visit soon…woof.

Woof…Love…woof.
